Join us for a vigorous yoga practice exploring the Five Vayus of Prana and unlock your awareness in how prana moves.

About the Event
Prana or life force energy can be subdivided into energetic movements called Vayus (winds, energy currents). Each current governs a different energetic quality including functions and directions of energy: upward lifting (Prana Vayu), downward rooting (Apana Vayu), balancing/horizontal movement (Samana Vayu), outward (Vyana Vayu) & upward/circular moving (Udana Vayu).
In this workshop, we explore each Vayu individually in a conscious form of movement. Synched with our breath we dive deep into different movement aspects including kriyas. Learn how these different energies can support our body and wellbeing. Let yourself be guided into a deeper understanding of how energy moves through you and around you.
At the end of the practice we weave all the Five Vayus together in one balancing playful flow.
On the program:
· Welcome with herbal tea
· Introduction and explanation of the Five Vayus of Prana
· Yoga practice using Asana, Pranayama, Mudra, Kriya and Meditation.
· Closing circle
· Healthy vegan lunch
This workshop is suitable for all levels. Beginners are given insight into the world of yoga; regular students can find opportunity to deepen their current practice.
