About the Event

Ride the inner currents for vitality, strength & wellbeing!

According the ancient yogis, prana or life force energy, can be subdivided into energetic movements called Vayus (winds, energy currents). Each current governs a different energetic quality including functions and directions of energy: upward lifting (Prana Vayu), downward rooting (Apana Vayu), balancing/horizontal movement (Samana Vayu), outward (Vyana Vayu) & upward/circular moving (Udana Vayu).

In this workshop we will explore each Vayu separately. We will learn how these energies can support our body and wellbeing. With a synchronized breath and movement practice we will dive deep into the different movement aspects. This workshop guides you into a deeper understanding of how energy moves through you. 

At the end we will weave all the Five Vayus together in one balancing playful flow.

What to expect:

· Introduction and explanation of the Five Vayus of Prana

· Yoga practice using Asana, Pranayama, Mudra, Kriya and Meditation.

This workshop is suitable for all levels. Beginners are given insight into the world of yoga; regular students can find opportunity to deepen their current practice.
