About the Event
The term myofascial refers to the muscles and fascia that surrounds them, there is no separation. They work together as an integrated unit. Myo- simply means muscle. Fascia is the continuous 3D web of connective tissue that wraps around, runs through and supports every muscle, organ and bone in the body.
Tissues can build up fatigue, stress, tensions and aches. These symptoms can restrict our range of motion. Do you:
· hold tension and stress in your body?
· feel stiff from sitting for too long?
· feel general tightness from exercising?
· have difficulty to relax & release?
Then this workshop might be something for you. There are many benefits of Myo Yin like reduced pain, soreness and overall stress but also increased blood circulation, range of motion, flexibility, fluidity, hydration of the tissues and so much more.
Learn different rolling techniques with myofascial balls. Additionally, yin yoga postures combined with pranayama (breath work) will help you to stay present with the sensations arising in the body.
MFR and Yin Yoga both influence the muscular and fascial networks. This full practice (rolling techniques combined with Yin yoga) will help to encourage the body’s capacity to release tensions and to penetrate deeper in the tissues in a way that a normal yoga class can’t. It’s in this combined approach that a sense of freedom, ease and opening of the body can be obtained.
Expect a full body self-massage with myofascial balls and long hold stretches to release and relax. The Yin postures are held before the rolling techniques and after, so you feel the difference for yourself. This workshop ends with a blissful guided meditation, followed by a healthy vegan lunch with delicious, sweet dessert.

End of the workshop
No yoga experience is necessary, as Yin yoga is a gentle form of yoga that involves holding a static stretch for 2-5 minutes. The Myofascial Balls are used to release areas in the body before moving into a yoga posture to lengthen the tissue.
On the spot: yoga mats, bolsters, straps, blocks and myofascial balls in different shapes and textures for you to adapt the intensity, herbal tea and water.
Please bring comfortable clothing and a warm pullover for the meditation at the end.
It is recommended not to plan any strong physical activity after this workshop.
