About the Event
Unravel tensions by using myofascial therapy balls to target stiffness, tightness, and stress in the body. Unwind and release to experience profound freedom in your body as well as increased ease in your yoga practice.
The term myofascial refers to the muscles and fascia that surrounds them, there is no separation. They work together as an integrated unit. Myo- simply means muscle. Fascia is the continuous 3D web of connective tissue that wraps around, runs through and supports every muscle, organ and bone in the body.
Tissues can build up fatigue, stress, tensions and aches. These symptoms can restrict our range of motion. Do you:
· hold tension and stress in your body?
· feel stiff from sitting for too long?
· feel general tightness from exercising?
· have difficulty to relax & release?
Then this workshop might be something for you.
We will implement different rolling techniques with myofascial balls by applying pressure into targeted and tight areas. Additionally, Yin yoga postures combined with pranayama (breath work) will help you to stay present with the sensations arising in the body.
This full practice (rolling techniques combined with Yin yoga) will help to encourage the body’s capacity to release tensions and to penetrate deeper in the tissues in a way that a normal yoga class can’t. It’s in this combined approach that a sense of freedom, ease and opening of the body can be obtained.
Expect a full body self-massage with myofascial balls and long hold stretches to release and relax. The Yin postures are held before the rolling techniques and after, so you feel the difference for yourself.
This workshop ends with a blissful guided meditation, a closing circle, followed by a healthy vegan snack.

12.00 – 13.30 Combo Full body self-massage with myofascial balls + Yin yoga + Meditation
13.30 – 14.00 Q&A, sharing circle + healthy vegan snack

No yoga experience is necessary, as Yin yoga is a gentle form of yoga that involves holding a static stretch for 2-5 minutes. The Myofascial Balls are used to release areas in the body before moving into a yoga posture to lengthen the tissue.
Available on the spot for use only: yoga mats, props (blocks & bolsters), 2 myofascial therapy balls pp, herbal tea, water, vegan healthy snack.
Please bring comfortable clothing and a warm pullover for the meditation at the end.
It is recommended not to plan any strong physical activity after this workshop.
